Louis N. Pangaro, MD, is the Vice Chair for Educational Programs in the Department of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences-F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine, a position he has held since 1995. He is also an instructor in the Department of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Pangaro earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at Georgetown University. He completed his residency training and a fellowship in endocrinology at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Pangaro is a fellow of the American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine and he is a former president of the Clerkship Directors of Internal Medicine.
