Dr. Goldstein is an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston and an instructor at Harvard Medical School. Previous medical training included a fellowship in hemostasis and thrombosis at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital and emergency medicine residency training at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. He also trained as a fellow in the Vascular and Critical Care Neurology program at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Dr. Goldstein is particularly interested in developing clinical trials directed toward improving the emergency care of patients with acute hemorrhagic and thromboembolic strokes. He is a graduate of Tufts University with a B.S. in biopsychology and holds both M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Connecticut Health Center School of Medicine.
